The “Final Push” features the finish of the New Forest Boxing Day point-to-point from the riders perspective.

This is said to be last authentic point-to-point in the country. The vicinity of the finish is known, but the start or meeting point is not given out until Christmas Day! Even then the actual start is not given and the riders may ride out a considerable distance from the meeting place to the start, so local knowledge is vital. Adult races are approximately 3 miles over open forest, through woods, rivers and bogs with the children and veterans racing over a 1.5-mile course.
